Something I always wanted to alter

Hello friends this is my 2nd post....well as possible i would try to keep up my limits coz the topic abt what iam gonna write is something which i strongly believe not from today from the time i had started thinking of it....
Ok so here it goes////
What do u think why we indians run to abroad????
Probably the reason could be as stated under::::-----
(1)-Getting high salary paid in all those abraod countries like America and stuff???
(2)-Getting a lot of value and increased reputation while coming back to india???
(3)- These could be probably the main reasons well rest all sub reasons ........
Have we indians ever thought of this????
Have we ever felt ashamed of being such rude to our country????
Have we thought that we were really doing fraud to our nation ,to the place where we have everything,to the place that gave us name ,fame and the place we cast as our origin???????
hey thats still a question mark if yes we think then why dont we react????if no we dont think why dont we????

.......iam leaving this portion blank coz i feel we all need to refresh our memory and start thinking so if still we havent////

hi shiny,
well ! i suppose u missed an important point behind this brain-drain theory. And that is looking up for better standards of living.Money is not just the sole criteria.Money goes in vain unless u have a good standard of living, better atmosphere to live in and completely fair administration.I suppose u agree with me that foreign countries are superior to ours in all the above respects.SO I WUD JUSTIFY PEOPLE'S GOING ABROAD.i suppose whenever u take an important decision of ur life u wud definitely think about ur family first and then ur country So if u are getting better oppertunities outside WONT U GRAB THEM AND DO SOME GOOD TO U AND UR FAMILY?? or wud u decline the offer just because ur PATRIOTISM comes in the way?I am sure if u work in India u wud certainly think
about ur family first.

can u please explain in what sense are the people, working abroad, rude to India? when u leave ur hometown and work in someother city in india itself, are u doing fraud to ur hometown? If u think globally and consider other countries as a part of mother earth i hope u wont find anything wrong in it..

if u put in ur best efforts throughout ur life and attain some qualification would u like to be paid pea-nuts for ur hardwork in ur own country or u wud u like to get a salary beyond expectations for the same job???

Nice of u manish tht u gave it a thought atleast!I surely agree tht we all live in materialistic world n none of us would agree in living with a status which demands us to be lower in other's eyes!.Probably bt the question arises is if thts true then why dnt we change the ever existing society rather than altering our own places of origin.?Lemme me nt be much gregarious, bt something which i wanna say abt ur below point "I suppose u agree with me that foreign countries are superior to ours in all the above respects" is tht I truely donot completely agree to this.Well as it is said every little thing no matter Diamond(the most expensive stone) has its own pros & cons.Even science says "NO MACHINE IS IDEAL".If yes then India wouldnt have been the first ever country in bringing up the most cheapest Car(nt to forget Tata's Nano Car).Well i can go on n on abt it.All i wanna say is tht..Why do we always believe in being pessimistic n questionative in taking out the negativities of a country n specially our country..???Why nt stay here and then strive to make it a developed country than a mere developing country.??

"If u think globally and consider other countries as a part of mother earth i hope u wont find anything wrong in it.."

To ur above stated point i appreciate the fact tht we all belong to this wonderful planet Earth.Bt as u stated tht one's family comes first,Similarly our family India comes first!.By making our country reach heights we surely can make our mother(Earth) turn happy.Think abt it!...

first of all,i must humbly pay heed to the patriotic approach in your comments.Anyone could have easily submitted to u after reading such a fiery comment but i still want to continue this debate as its the first time i've found a platform to express my views thoroughly and that too in front of a hardcore patriotic person so if i say anything wrong pls take it as my immaturity and forgive me.I am really sorry to say that these things are really good and inspiring to read only but when it comes to actual practice mostly the people take their steps back.

If u talk of changing the existing society then its not that easy as it is to plan or write about it.I am sure u must have watched the movie NAYAK which is quite similar to ur aspirations.Though the movie had a happy ending(it had to be since its BOLLYWOOD)but did u observe what all difficuties a person, who steps forward to bring a change, had to face in achieving his aim.He even lost his complete family in the process.Even his life was at a stake.IN REALITY WHO ACTUALLY HAS SUCH A BIG HEART ??Take the case of modern day politicians-the one who comes forward has to pay the cost with his life.Nothing new-started with Mahatma Gandhi's assasination following Lal Bahadur Shastri's ,Rajiv Gandhi's ,Indira Gandhi's and continues up to Benzir Bhutto's.SOME of them came up as LEADERS but later became POLITICIANS.Their consistency in their relentless efforts in changing India soon exhausted in their political journey and INDIA still is the same.
A DOG'S BENT TAIL IF KEPT IN AN IRON ROD FOR 20 LONG YEARS WILL STILL REMAIN BENT.
I am not saying that India is bad altogether.Obviously its better than its neighbouring countries but if u compare it with other foregin nations u'll get the answer.TRUTH IS BITTER AND HARD TO ACCEPT.I too love my country but m afraid to call myself PATRIOTIC.the word in itself is too big to be conferred upon oneself.

Yeah, India's latest launched cheapest car is no doubt an appreciable step towards development but dyou think it is solely designed by Indians alone and NO FOREIGN MIND HAS WORKED UPON ITS MANUFACTURE?? If yes, then have those foreigners done a fraud to their respective nations since they worked in india's product??? dont u think the word 'fraud'is too much to describe the brain-drain followers?? and moreover if the cheapest car is launched ,the whole humanity will avail of its facilities and not the indians alone.Dont u think we should look above nationalism and serve for humanity only wherever we work and stay may it be india or abroad????? Still harder to accept is that india's NANO,though a marvellous invention, is merely a small bullet in front of the hundreds of missiles fired by the other hi-tech nations.that is the problem of we indians who celebrate over a little achievement so long which may seem dwarf in front of others. If japan goes on counting things like that we wont even get a piece of cloth to hide our faces

Well shiny! i wud request u to rethink over my words
""If u think globally and consider other countries as a part of mother earth i hope u wont find anything wrong in it.."" when i said Earth as mother i referred to other counties as family members as was stated by Mr.Binu earlier"the world is one family".And y cant we accept them as our family members just because they are separated by physical boundaries or they differ in culture? i think latter shouldn't be the reason in any case 'coz india in itself is a diversified nation.
the family which i mentioned earlier was whom we are closely related.Obviously u cant ignore the ones with whom u have blood relations.BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER

one of my queries is still unanswered
""if u are getting better oppertunities outside WONT U GRAB THEM AND DO SOME GOOD TO U AND UR FAMILY?? or wud u decline the offer just because ur PATRIOTISM comes in the way?""""

First of all Manish I would surely appreciate n thank u for having found my blog as a platform for expressing ur views!
Let me clearly mention that I possibly stated the reasons which could have been possible for having dragged Indians to abroad. Personally saying I never meant it as my own view. In fact I stated it as a general thought which must be forcing us for this very act of ours. And then talking about putting forth all these points into implementation all I wanna is that it depends entirely on we humans. We can take them as just certain points but whereas also can try working out on them. Just taking a simple example. There would be many Engineers in India. But why is it that only certain engineer’s can reach upto heights whereas others still struggling to settle somewhere? That is the difference of just thinking and implementing after having thought properly. Fruitful Action is where we all lack in.
Talking about the movie example u mentioned all I wanna say is that life isn’t bollywood. Let me make myself more laconic by mentioning another bollywood movie example itself. Rang de Basanti, I am sure u must have watched this movie. What exactly was the lesson those youth wanted to teach us? In terse language they wanted to put forth such an example through themselves so that we start realising where we are and this way where are we actually going to end up? Rather than going abroad and getting money why don’t we serve in India itself? A country is made by its citizens. I am sure u would agree to the fact that it’s the citizens of America that made that country proud. But what do we do? All those bookworms or rather intelligent worms go for IAS and end up in making hell lot of money by corruption and all. My question to them is Why don’t they join politics? And then and there I hope we can find some really educated people as the leaders of India rather than all illiterate ruling our nation and deteriorating complete policies and virtues. If u wanna say about gandhiji then I am really sorry to say I never appreciated his work. Not that I am against him. Forgive me sir, but honestly speaking he was the one responsible for Bhagat Singh’s death (no matter whatever the reasons were). I don’t really stress upon becoming only politicians and serving but joining such a platform where we can be proud in and where our country can be made proud of.
“NANO,though a marvellous invention, is merely a small bullet in front of the hundreds of missiles fired by the other hi-tech nations.” For ur this point, Manish all I wanna say is that don’t forget that its several drops that combine to make ocean. And off course a child has to stress upon his basic foundation from the school time to become an educated citizen. Let us at least strive to reach the first step. I am sure later on all the other steps can be reached!.
And about we Indians celebrating on small achievements then probably u got to question entire humanism coz we all humans have that tendency. Ask urself and u would surely get the answer.
And off course Blood is definitely thicker than water. But manish where did I mention that u shouldn’t struggle for betterment of ur family?? All I mentioned was let us not go out from our family to fulfil this desire of ours. And what do u think once u go to abroad, people are waiting to serve u????? well Manish, I am sorry to say that we Indians are considered as a part of some downtrodden nation and u know how many Indians at a count have to suffer that embarrassment? No less than slavery is the actual practise that is done with Indians. Let us start getting satisfied with what we have. Not that not striving to move forward but stop crying every second time. And ur query to the point if u get better opportunities wont u go abroad; my answer to this would be that there is no harm in going somewhere else than ur country but remembering a fact always that u belong to a particular country and there is where ur responsibility lies. Fulfil what is expected out of u than fulfilling what u expect than others. That’s all I wanna say. May be I am being much abstract and un real but if u really ask ur heart and every Indian’s heart then surely u will get my point!......

Not writing such a long comment. But before we go into patriotism and brain drain, what we need to understand is during 1947 to 1991, India was going through a closed door economy. Only good jobs available were government jobs, the only cars you could drive were ambassadors and there was not much to achieve for anyone staying back unless you are from a high caste or a politician. This is what prompted the brain drain. People went to where their skills were wanted and paid for. Along the way they saw the money, the life style and so on.

1991 onwards, with economic liberation, India's growth story started. The resulting change is why you now see so many more Indians coming back to India, investing in India and using the globe like a bus stand and India their destination.. Life is like that, it moves in cycles.. and migration is a part of human life, right from the Bible, where it starts with the Ark, moves to Moses, and even Jesus is always travelling around preaching his Word. We came into the India of today at the right time, when growth was there, thats why we feel we are up to facing it...
