Exploring Life? (Inspired by the movie 'Highway') !

Let me start this write up with a small story I witnessed recently. This really made me think on how I should take life and regret upon on the steps I should have not taken. The burst of emotions in the story Highway made me think, introspect and re-evaluate on how I lived for all these years as a child, teenager, and then as a growing adult.

This story is about a girl, who is brought up in a very civilized manner in one of those rich dream society bungalows, which many of the girls of her age dream off. If money was something which we all crave for, it was something which she had in abundance. She had a family too which supposedly believed were protecting her in all ways. She was taught to be secure from the men outside but was never given instructions of how to handle sexual abuse at HOME. She was definitely not normal as any normal girl would be scared, panicky, if she was kidnapped. But unlikely, she was quite happy, felt free, and was excited to breathe without any constraints. She enjoyed the fresh air, shouted when she wanted to, ate what normal people ate, dressed how a street girl would, and enjoyed every piece of moment with the kidnapper. I don’t think she was in love only with the kidnapper but she was in majorly with the freedom she was restrained off for all the years.

Now let’s recall the time when we could actually do what we wanted to, above all odds and above all ways which we are supposed to follow. Truthfully, Life has not been unfair to us, though we ourselves have deprived ourselves of the positive things in life. We are in this chase of following others like an ape would follow the other or a parrot would repeat one’s words. Scientists say humans are blessed with this impeccable system of a brain which does ‘planning’, but I believe ‘planning’ is the worst thing we could do to harm our system. “The more we plan, the harder we trouble ourselves, the worse we victimize our humanity”.

This article is not for those who have recognized their potential but for those who still believe they are not special. If you were not special, you could have had a clone of yours. Forget the fact of being similar, the almighty created even two twins in the most similar but yet so different manner.

Let this article inspire you to cut off the chains, revive your life, break the inhibitions and fly off to win the sky. When you believe you have nothing on earth, look up to the sky because 'winning the earth might be easy but winning the sky could make you free'
